The MOS-2 is a listen-only unit which allows two infantry squad members wearing 'listen-only' headsets to be briefed over the intercom channel.

A loudspeaker may be connected. As may a headset, but the microphone receives no connection to the ROVIS.

Each Headset port has an associated volume control, allowing each user to individually set their preferred listening level.

Up to four MOS-2's may be connected in a single ROVIS system.

All MOS-2's can operate through a vehicle slip ring.
