With effect from the 1st of March 2006, we changed our name from Chelton Defence Communications Limited to Cobham Defence Communications Limited, in a move that reflects Cobham plc's intent to improve customer focus and awareness of the Group's world leading capabilities.

Cobham Defence Communications Limited (CDC) is part of the Cobham Defence Electronic Systems Division, which is one of six technology and service focused divisions created in September 2005 following a strategic review. CDC operates from sites in Blackburn and Exeter.
